About Madrid Economics
Madrid Economics aims to reinforce cooperation and interactions among researchers in Economics based in Madrid, facilitating cross-institutional involvement in research, teaching, and dissemination activities.
Faculty and graduate students from all institutions are welcome and encouraged to participate in the activities of Madrid Economics. Since its inception, it has received particularly strong support from researchers based at the Centre for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI) and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, but researchers from several other institutions have also been involved.
Among the activities of Madrid Economics are the maintenance of a combined calendar of seminars and conferences in Economics taking place in Madrid and the organization of regular joint seminars and international conferences. It also promotes cross-institutional participation in research projects and graduate teaching.
